Eligibility

To be eligible for any of our courses you must be

  • Between 16 and 21 years of age

  • Out of school for at least three months

A training allowance may be payable

Employability Skills with Catering

This course is aimed at providing the necessary skills for trainees who would like to gain employment or access further training in the service industry –Hospitality Sector.

The following modules are included:

  • Personal Effectiveness or Communications

  • Application of Number

  • Career Preparation

  • A computer based module

  • Health & Safety

  • Nutrition and Healthy Options

  • Culinary Operations

Employability Skills with Childcare

Major QQI Level 3 Award in Employability Skills

This course is aimed at providing the necessary skills for trainees who would like to gain employment or to access further training in the Childcare area

The following modules are included:

  • Personal Effectiveness or Communications

  • Application of Number

  • Career Preparation

  • A Computer based module

  • Art & Craft modules

  • Child Development and Play

  • Childcare and Safety

Employability Skills with Health & Fitness

Major QQI Level 3 Award in Employability Skills

This course is aimed at providing the necessary skills for trainees who would like to progress to a VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing - Gym Based Exercise.

The following modules are included:

  • Personal Effectiveness or Communications

  • Application of Number

  • Career Preparation

  • A Computer based module

  • Health & Safety Awareness

  • Health Related Fitness level 3 and 4

Employability Skills with Crafts

Major QQI Level 3 Award in Employability Skills

This course is aimed at providing the necessary skills for trainees who would like to gain employment or access further training in the trade industry
