The Health Related Fitness group, under the guidance of their tutor Niamh Cahill took part in fundraising events including: Fun-Run, waxaton, and a charity car wash. It was an overall great success, raising €900 in aid of the Sacred Heart Hospital. 5th April: One of the group presented the cheque to Sarah and Ann, staff at the Sacred Heart,along with two patients. Present on the day were the trainees, Manager, Avril Lynch,  trainers, Caragh Bolger and Mary Devoy, who were on work experience at the centre, from IT Carlow.
